Is It Real Investigators is a group of amateur paranormal investigators who are deeply interested in exploring reports of the paranormal. We live across western and central New York. We have a whole range of equipment, and come to your place, structure, establishment free of charge. If you so desire, we will conduct our investigation without releasing names or locations. We will only release a name or location with your permission.
Our mission and goals are very similar to other paranormal investigation groups. We will search for evidence but we are not “expert Ghost Hunters”. We do not claim to be. There are no experts in this field of the paranormal. Our main goal is to determine if what is occurring is real or not real, if there is a rational explanation, or if something truly paranormal is going on. We would love nothing more than to come to a site or into a home and document a true haunting or to catch on video an actual full-bodied apparition. The truth of the matter is that 98% of these claims turn out to be either false, imagined, or have a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Yes we’re looking for cases. If you have a home, site, or structure that you think is haunted or experiencing paranormal activity, we would love to be given the opportunity to investigate it and give you any feedback, advice, and evidence to support our findings. We do our best to come up with real explanations as to why and how it is happening.
If you are just interested in trying to trick the public, create a sensation with mirrors, lighting, or just creating a haunted experience, please try another site. We are not interested.
